On March 30, a 21-year-old young man from Uzbekistan was kidnapped by unknown individuals in the Petergof area near St. Petersburg, according to Uz24.uz.
One of the witnesses of the incident reported that six to seven men attacked the Uzbek migrant on Khalturina Street and forcibly put him into a nearby car. A friend of the victim, who was with him, also got into the car with them. After that, they disappeared from the scene.
Several hours later, the victim's brother contacted law enforcement agencies. According to him, the unknown individuals called and demanded a ransom of 40,000 rubles in exchange for his brother's return.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating all the details of the incident.
