According to information, the helicopter carrying the Taliban government's Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Hidayatullah Badri, and the governor of Ghor province, Hayyatullah Mubarak, crashed in the territory of Ghor province. It is said that their trip was carried out to inspect the mines and exercise personal control.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan, the crash was caused by a technical malfunction. The helicopter lost control in a difficult mountainous area and collided with a mountain.
However, despite the misfortune, none of the passengers died. According to some local sources, three pilots and two crew members sustained injuries of varying degrees.
At the same time, the minister and the governor are in good health and did not suffer serious injuries. Rescue teams and medical services were sent to the area immediately after the incident.
All the injured were taken to the hospital. It was reported that the helicopter suffered serious damage.
