An unexpected incident occurred at the famous Hangzhou safari park located in Zhejiang province, China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the show, a black bear attacked the animal trainer. A video circulating on the internet shows the bear knocking the trainer to the ground.
This incident sparked widespread discussions on social media. It was revealed that there were two bears and their two trainers on stage.
After the show ended, the bear jumped on one of the trainers and knocked him down. Other staff members tried to separate the animal from the trainer using chairs and sticks.
However, the bear attempted to attack again. The park administration issued an official statement regarding the incident, stating that neither the trainer nor the bear sustained serious injuries.
It is assumed that the trainer might have been carrying food such as carrots and apples. It is believed that the bear attacked after sensing the smell of the food.
Following this incident, the safari park management temporarily suspended the bear's participation in stage performances.
