According to his relatives, Chris Rea died surrounded by his family after a short illness. His final moments were spent under the support of his close ones.

His works such as Fool (If You Think It’s Over), The Road to Hell (Part 2), and Driving Home for Christmas became famous worldwide and found a place in the hearts of several generations of fans.
