Remains of the famous musketeer d'Artagnan may have been found in the Netherlands

During renovation work at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul located in the city of Maastricht, Netherlands, a discovery was made that could be very important for history. Zamin.uz reported this.
Specialists found a human skeleton during excavations that began as a result of the collapse of the church floor. Initial studies and historical data indicate that these remains may belong to the famous French musketeer d'Artagnan.
The discovery of a French coin from that era next to the remains suggests that the buried person was not an ordinary individual, but someone of high social status. Historical documents contain information that d'Artagnan perished during the siege of Maastricht in 1673 and was buried in this exact area.
These facts lead researchers to conclude that the find may indeed belong to the famous hero. Currently, scientists are conducting a deep analysis of DNA samples taken from the discovered jawbones in modern laboratory conditions.
Researchers consider the probability high that these remains belong to d'Artagnan; however, a final and precise conclusion will be announced only after the genetic analysis results are ready. If this hypothesis is confirmed, it will be an event of great significance for world culture and literature.
Scientists are closely monitoring the process and plan to inform the public with new information in the near future.
