Eid al-Adha in Uzbekistan will be celebrated on May 27

It was officially announced that the first day of the sacred Eid al-Adha holiday in Kazakhstan this year falls on May 27. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The relevant decision and information were brought to the attention of the general public by the Religious Administration of Muslims of the country. This influential religious organization has developed a plan of events to be held on the occasion of the holiday and has approved the timing of the Eid prayer across the regions.
According to the official information provided, in most major cities and regions of the country, the Eid prayer will be performed early in the morning. Specifically, in the cities of Almaty, Nur-Sultan, and Shymkent, which are of republican significance, the Eid prayer is scheduled to begin at 06:00.
During this time, all mosques will prepare their prayer halls to welcome worshippers. Additionally, Muslims residing in the regions of Akmola, Almaty, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, and Turkestan are also expected to perform the Eid prayer exactly at 06:00.
At the same time, the prayer time has been uniformly set in the regions of Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Jetisu, and Abay. In all central mosques of these regions, the necessary conditions have been created for worshippers.
However, taking into account the country's geographical location and time zone differences, the prayer time has been set slightly later in some regions. Thus, in the regions of Mangystau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, and Atyrau, as well as in certain areas of the Karaganda region, the Eid prayer is scheduled to begin at 06:30.
Representatives of the religious administration have called on all believers to celebrate the holiday in peace and tranquility, observing the established rules and order. It was also noted that charitable events and festive celebrations will be held throughout the country during the days of Eid al-Adha.
