Unrest broke out in European cities after the Morocco-France match

During the semi-final stage of the World Cup, public order disturbances were observed in major European cities following the match between the French and Moroccan national teams, Zamin.uz reported.
After the match ended with France’s 2–0 victory, Moroccan fans who could not accept the defeat took to the streets, attempting to disrupt public order. In particular, the situation escalated sharply in capital cities such as London and Paris.
According to eyewitnesses, some groups of Moroccan supporters blocked traffic in central streets, setting off various pyrotechnic devices and creating serious danger in the surrounding areas.
Additionally, glass bottles and various hard objects were thrown at police officers responsible for maintaining order. Law enforcement agencies were forced to deploy additional forces to the incident sites in order to restore the situation and ensure safety.
Injuries were also reported as a result of the clashes. According to information, at least one police officer sustained a serious head injury and was urgently taken to hospital.
At least four individuals who actively participated in the disturbances and committed violations were detained at the scene. Appropriate measures are currently being taken against these individuals.
Such unrest was observed not only in France and Great Britain, but also in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, as well as in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. The Paris administration implemented unprecedented security measures to prevent potential threats.
