Aleksandr Lukashenko invited Uzbeks to move to Belarus

During high-level meetings held in Minsk, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko invited Uzbek citizens, especially families, to relocate to Belarus and live and work there permanently. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It was promised that all necessary social conditions would be created for migrants in Belarus, as the demand for labor in the country is currently high. This statement was made as part of efforts to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level.
According to Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus currently has a strong need for hardworking and skilled specialists. Therefore, he urged Uzbek citizens not only to engage in temporary employment but to relocate with their families and settle permanently in the country.
It was stated that housing, quality education, and access to healthcare would be guaranteed by the state for incoming citizens. The Belarusian leader emphasized in his speech the diligence of the Uzbek people and expressed readiness to create all favorable conditions for their life and development in Belarus.
During his address, the Belarusian president compared the natural resources and capabilities of the two countries. In his view, water resources and arable land are currently of paramount importance for Uzbekistan.
In Belarus, however, water and land resources are abundant, which could help align the interests of both nations. Historical mutual respect and trust between the two peoples serve as a solid foundation for strengthening labor migration and economic cooperation.
These proposals were made during the official visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Belarus. At the conclusion of the talks, the heads of state signed not only agreements on migration and social issues but also a declaration on establishing strategic partnership relations covering numerous promising areas.
Furthermore, a series of important documents were exchanged to regulate cooperation in various sectors. Such agreements serve to elevate friendly relations between the two countries to a new level.
