A Ryanair plane was forced to make an emergency landing after a fight broke out on board

An unexpected and extremely dangerous situation occurred on a Ryanair flight from Greece to Germany, according to Zamin.uz.
Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft’s window shattered, causing a rapid loss of cabin pressure. Due to this incident, one of the passengers was partially sucked out of the aircraft by the strong airflow.
It is reported that the incident occurred on July 10 aboard a Boeing 737 flying from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen Airport, Germany. As the situation worsened, the flight crew decided to return urgently and make an emergency landing at Thessaloniki Airport.
According to preliminary information, the injured passenger is a citizen of Serbia and was immediately taken to a university hospital in the city after landing. Doctors stated that his life is not in danger, but the extent of his injuries is still being assessed.
According to Serbian media, at the moment of decompression, the passenger’s head and part of his torso were outside the aircraft. Thanks to the quick and courageous actions of other passengers, he was held back and pulled back inside the cabin.
Ryanair confirmed that the aircraft landed safely and all passengers were returned to the terminal unharmed. The airline has not yet disclosed the exact cause of the window failure.
Meanwhile, a special investigation is underway involving experts from Boeing and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. Preliminary assessments suggest that during flight, a part of the engine may have detached and struck the aircraft window.
This could have led to a loss of structural integrity and a drop in cabin pressure. It is worth noting that a similar tragic incident occurred in 2018 involving an aircraft of the same model.
At that time, due to a broken window, one passenger was sucked out and died. Although international aviation safety requirements have been significantly strengthened since then, concerns related to technical malfunctions remain highly relevant.
Experts have emphasized the importance of providing additional information following the conclusion of the investigation.
