Famous Russian coach Valery Nepomnyashchiy commented on the likelihood of CSKA midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev moving to Turkey's Istanbul Basaksehir club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist emphasized that the young player could have continued to develop in the team, but under the current circumstances, such a transaction is deemed necessary for the club. According to Nepomnyashchiy, Fayzullaev would be a significant loss for CSKA.
He could have grown even more as a player, but this sale is beneficial for the club. CSKA is forced to generate income in the current situation, which is why this decision was made.
It was previously reported that the transfer fee for the player between Basaksehir and CSKA was agreed upon at around seven million euros. The 21-year-old Fayzullaev joined CSKA in Moscow from Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor club for 500 thousand euros in the summer of 2023.
