Glushakov stated that the "Spartak" team needs to show itself through work rather than talking a lot about the championship. He prefers to remain silent for now to keep bad luck at bay.
In the first round of the new season, "Spartak" defeated Makhachkala "Dinamo" with a minimal score. The victory was secured by a goal from the foreign player Markinhos.
In the second round, "Spartak" will host the "Baltika" team at home. It should be noted that "Baltika" played to a 1:1 draw against Moscow "Dinamo" in their away game in the first round.
