The Parisian PSJ club is not stopping its efforts to add 22-year-old Ukrainian footballer Ilya Zabarniy, who plays as a defender for the English team Bournemouth. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to RMC Sport, the French club is ready to improve its offer for Zabarniy after the transfer of Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool is finalized. According to the source, PSJ will earn 16 million euros from Ekitike's transfer, as they hold 20 percent of his transfer fee.
Ekitike is moving to the English team Liverpool for 80 million euros. Previously, PSJ offered 60 million euros for Zabarniy to Bournemouth, but the English club rejected this offer, setting the minimum amount at 70 million euros.
Now PSJ is looking to return to negotiations and reconsider the deal amount. Thus, PSJ is striving to improve its chances of acquiring the player by increasing its offer.
This process is expected to conclude in the near future
