According to the club's press service, this financial plan includes expenses for the infrastructure of the "Gazprom Arena" stadium, sports base, and academy. It was also noted that the main sponsor, the "Gazprom" company, may allocate up to 5 billion rubles to the budget.
Last season, "Zenit" finished second in the Russian Premier League, ending a consecutive championship series that lasted six seasons. This year's season is expected to be rich in new opportunities and successes for the club.
