According to Tarkhanov, CSKA will consider the issue of immortalizing Akinfeev's memory after he concludes his career in the future. In his opinion, Akinfeev fully deserves this.
He emphasized the need to install a bust in honor of Akinfeev at the stadium and referred to him as a hero of his generation. According to the specialist, even at 39 years old, Akinfeev is performing well in goal and helping the CSKA club achieve success.
Akinfeev made his debut for CSKA in 2003. Since then, he has become a six-time Russian champion and has won the Russian Cup eight times.
Additionally, Akinfeev has played 111 games for the Russian national team.
