The sports director of Rostov football club, Aleksey Ryskin, announced that some teams in the national championship are dissatisfied with the situation regarding coach Valery Karpin. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, these discontented opinions are related to Karpin working in multiple positions at the same time. In a press conference, when asked by a “Match TV” journalist whether it is true that several clubs opposed Karpin working in multiple positions at the same time during the general meeting, Ryskin replied: No.
Only concerns were expressed. However, no substantial evidence was presented.
I did not hear any evidence, there were only concerns. It should be noted that since June, Valery Karpin has been serving as the head coach of the Russian national team while also coaching Dynamo Moscow.
He signed a three-year contract with Dynamo. Previously, Karpin had taken a short break from the club's activities after leaving Rostov at the beginning of the year.
Currently, his dual role is being discussed by some clubs, but no official protests or strong objections have been raised.
