Diveev asked journalists not to overly praise young football players

CSKA team defender Igor Diveev expressed his opinion about the pressure on young footballers from the media. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, when a player starts to show himself, journalists should not overly praise him. Because this situation can negatively affect the player's future career and hinder his development.

Diveev stated that an incorrect approach can lead to the player overestimating himself, which in turn may result in not achieving the expected outcomes. He also emphasized that due to the correct approach in his team, there are no players suffering from "star syndrome."

In his opinion, the demands and attention towards young footballers in the CSKA team are directed correctly. Therefore, they continue to work on themselves and do not strive to show off.

Recently, young footballers in the CSKA squad have been demonstrating good results. In particular, 19-year-old midfielder Matvey Kislyak is also showing a good performance.
