PSG is close to an agreement to buy Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarniy, who is playing for the English team Bournemouth. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It has been revealed that the Paris club has offered 60 million euros to the English team for the purchase of this player. According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have reached an agreement, and PSG had already settled personal contract terms with Zabarniy back in May of this year.
Earlier, there were reports that as a result of Zabarniy's purchase, Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov from PSG might be sold to another club. However, PSG management emphasized that there are no issues regarding this, and both players can play together in the same team.
The media has mentioned Bournemouth as one of the options being considered for Safonov. Thus, PSG is close to adding a new player to its ranks, and serious problems within the club are not expected.
