Korshunov is dissatisfied with Spartak's high expenditure on Jedson
Recently, Anatoly Korshunov, a former player of the capital's Spartak team, shared his opinion about the new player who has joined the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Moscow club has signed Portuguese midfielder Jedson Fernandes. He transferred to Spartak from Turkey's Besiktas for 20.8 million euros.
Korshunov emphasized that this transfer is a financial over-expenditure. According to him, not only Jedson but also many other players are being paid much more than their actual value.
These opinions were expressed by the Spartak veteran through the Match TV channel. For reference, Jedson Fernandes has also played for several famous clubs in Europe.
He has previously been active in London’s Tottenham, Turkey’s Galatasaray, and Portugal’s Benfica. Spartak's next match will take place as part of the third round of the Russian championship.
