Football commentator Timur Juravel shared his thoughts on the results of the "Dinamo" team at the beginning of the new season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his remarks, Juravel suggested recalling the results of the "Rostov" team during the early seasons under Valeriy Karpin. According to him, when Karpin took over "Rostov" in December 2017, the team was in 10th place in the league table.
By the end of that season, "Rostov" finished in 11th place. The following year, in Karpin's first full season, the team climbed to 9th place.
Only in the third season did "Rostov" achieve a clear result, securing 5th place. The specialist emphasized that it takes a lot of time for players to adapt to Karpin's style of football.
Nevertheless, "Dinamo" seems to be hoping for quick results. Currently, "Dinamo" is in ninth place in the Russian championship with four points.
The team achieved this result after three matches. This situation does not fully meet the expected results for "Dinamo" at the beginning of the season, but the team has the opportunity to improve its game ahead.
