Fiorentina football club is not interested in Rubin Kazan striker Mirlind Daku. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was stated by the scout of the Italian club, Raffaele Rubio. Earlier, some sources reported that negotiations had begun between the two clubs and that the player was not opposed to continuing his career in Italy.
However, Raffaele Rubio emphasized that this information is not true. Mirlind Daku could have transferred to Zenit St. Petersburg in the summer of 2025, but the transfer did not happen due to the player's inappropriate behavior.
In the 2025/2026 season, Daku played in a total of five matches in the Russian championship and cup, scoring five goals and providing one assist. The market value of the 27-year-old Albanian striker is currently eight million euros.
Thus, the official representative confirmed that Fiorentina is not planning to sign a contract with Mirlind Daku. Therefore, no clear decision has been made regarding the player's future career.
