If this transfer goes through, the club understands that it may face significant financial expenses in the future, but still does not want to retreat. On Transfermarkt, Carlos Baleba's value is estimated at 40 million euros.

However, according to some sources, Brighton is asking for more than 115 million euros for the player. Therefore, negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, and it remains uncertain whether an agreement will be reached.
