Former Russian referee Sergey Lapochkin commented on the actions of "Lokomotiv" player Aleksey Batrakov in the last match. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Batrakov received a yellow card from the referee for unsporting behavior during the match against Kaliningrad's "Baltika" in the Cup. The head coach of the opposing team, Andrey Talalaev, questioned why Batrakov was given more opportunities compared to other players after the match.
According to Lapochkin, this situation arose as a result of avoiding punishment. He stated that Batrakov had previously made a harsh move against one player and, seeing that he was not penalized for it, became even more active.
Then he made a similar move against a second opponent, resulting in a scuffle on the field. Lapochkin believes that the referee should have shown him a yellow card earlier.
After this match, "Lokomotiv" is in third place in Group D of the Russian Cup with 3 points. "Baltika" has no points, "CSKA" is in second place with 4 points, and "Akron" is in first place with 5 points.
