Natan van Kuperen, the agent of West Ham's midfielder Edson Alvares, commented on the possibility of the player returning to Ajax. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
West Ham purchased Alvares from the Dutch club Ajax for 38 million euros in the summer of 2023. In an interview with ESPN, the agent emphasized that there is interest from Ajax, but the process will not be easy.
Nevertheless, he stated that nothing is impossible. According to well-known football expert Fabrizio Romano, several clubs, not only Ajax, are competing for Alvares.
Last season, the 27-year-old midfielder played a total of 31 matches across all competitions and provided one assist. His contract with West Ham is valid until 2028.
Transfermarkt specialists estimate the player's market value at 25 million euros.
