Bahodir Qurbonov has been elected as the president of the Uzbekistan Football Association

The candidates for the position of president of the Uzbekistan Football Association were subjected to a compliance check by the members of the Election Committee based on the Association's Election Code and Charter.
According to paragraph 4 of Article 30 of the Association's Charter, the candidacy of Bahodir Qurbonov for the position of president of the Uzbekistan Football Association was proposed by the delegates.
Based on the Association's Charter and Election Code, Bahodir Qurbonov has been elected as the president of the Uzbekistan Football Association.
Earlier, it was reported that in accordance with the Charter of the Uzbekistan Football Association, elections for the presidency of the UFA would take place on February 22, 2025, and the candidacy of General Colonel Bahodir Qurbonov was being proposed for the presidency of the association.
At the end of January, the former chairman of the National Security Service, Abdusalom Azizov, resigned from the position of president of the Uzbekistan Football Association. His duties have been carried out by UFA First Vice President Ravshan Ermatov.
