The English football club "Liverpool" has delayed the start of its pre-season training sessions. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Independent also reported on this. The decision was made due to the tragic death of the team's forward Diogo Jota in a road traffic accident on July 3.
Initially, the first group of players was scheduled to begin training at the base on July 4, with full team training set to start on July 8. However, after the funeral held on July 5, the start date for preparations was postponed.
Previously, it was reported that the Liverpool club management decided to fully pay Diogo Jota's family all remaining funds according to his current contract. Diogo had been representing the team since 2020.
