Korneyev: Ugalde will score fewer goals in the new season

Football functionary Igor Korneyev shared his forecast regarding the performance of Moscow "Spartak" striker Manfred Ugalde in the upcoming season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Korneyev emphasized that Ugalde will continue to play as he did in previous seasons and it is difficult to expect him to score more than ten goals. The publication "Sport-Ekspress" presented these thoughts.

In the 2024/2025 Russian Premier League, the 23-year-old striker played a total of 29 matches, scoring 17 goals and becoming the league's top scorer. Earlier, there were reports in the media about interest from the Netherlands' "Feyenoord" and "Ajax" clubs in acquiring Ugalde.

The striker's current contract is set to last until the summer of 2028, and his market value is estimated at 15 million euros. The footballer is expected to continue to perform at a high level in the future.
