Zenit leadership is discussing the future of Vendel

The coaching staff member of St. Petersburg's "Zenit" football team, Vilyam de Oliveira, commented on the future of midfielder Vendel. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Brazilian player could have transferred to the "Botafogo" club, but the transfer did not happen. According to the specialist, the team leadership is working on resolving the issue related to Vendel.

They are in constant contact with the player's agent and representatives. A decision is expected to be made soon.

Last season, Vendel played in 27 matches for the St. Petersburg team. He scored two goals and provided 13 assists.

The 27-year-old Brazilian player's contract with "Zenit" is valid until mid-2028. His market value is approximately 18 million euros.

The agreement between the team and the player is ongoing, and further decisions are expected to be announced soon.
