
The "Ahmat" football club of Grozny announced on its official social media that the contract with Bulgarian midfielder Svetoslav Kovachev has been terminated. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The parties decided to terminate the contract by mutual agreement. Kovachev joined the "Ahmat" team in the summer of 2023.
During this time, he played 47 official matches for the club and managed to score five goals. The club's press service expressed gratitude to Svetoslav and wished him success in his future endeavors.
In the summer of 2025, Aleksandr Storojuk was appointed as the head coach of the "Ahmat" team. He previously worked at "Krasnodar" and "Arsenal" of Tula.
