Tashuev: Torpedo may be replaced by Orenburg

Famous Russian coach Sergey Tashuev, who worked with the "Akhmat" team last season, commented on the possibility of Moscow's "Torpedo" being excluded from the participants of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

If such a situation occurs, "Orenburg," which was relegated from the top league based on sports criteria last season, may take the place of "Torpedo." According to Tashuev, the "Torpedo" team has not formed the necessary squad to participate in the Russian Premier League.

This will lead to an artificial weakening of the league, and the new team will immediately be forced to fight against relegation. At the same time, an investigation is ongoing regarding the manipulation of match results related to "Torpedo."

Currently, three people have been detained in connection with this case, two of whom are related to the team management, and one is an official referee. This situation poses a serious problem for Russian football, highlighting the need to ensure fairness and transparency in the sport.
