Titov commented on Zabolotn's transfer to 'Spartak'

Yegor Titov, a former midfielder of the Russian national team and Moscow 'Spartak', commented on forward Anton Zabolotn's transfer to the "red-white" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In an interview with Metaratings.ru, he compared Zabolotn with the new forward of Moscow 'Dinamo', Ivan Sergeyev. According to Titov, Sergeyev is considered a more versatile forward than Zabolotn.

However, it was evident in friendly matches that Anton excelled in aerial duels. Perhaps, the team's head coach Stankovich wanted such a strong defensive pillar.

Anton Zabolotn joined the "red-white" team as a free agent on a one-year contract. The 34-year-old forward spent the last season with the 'Khimki' team near Moscow.

He played a total of 31 matches across all tournaments, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists.
