The Paris PSG club has temporarily halted negotiations for the transfer of Bournemouth's central defender Ilya Zabarniy. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to L’Equipe, the Paris team has taken a break before the final match of the World Club Championship. PSG is waiting for the possibility of receiving an additional 33.9 million euros for this player.

This amount will be awarded to the final winner in the USA. Additionally, PSG intends to continue filling the striker and right central defender positions.

22-year-old Ilya Zabarniy's value, according to the Transfermarkt portal, is estimated at 42 million euros. His current contract with Bournemouth is set to last until mid-2029.
