Technical inspection queues in Piskent are causing problems again
Problems related to queuing for technical inspections of vehicles at the test site in Piskent have escalated again, reports Nova24.uz. The State Scientific Testing and Quality Control Center commented on the situation.

From March 20 to 25, a large number of requests were sent to the electronic queuing system from the same IP addresses. This led to system overload and cases of queue selling by fraudsters. Some citizens reported on social media that they were being asked for up to 10 million soums to skip the queue.

However, officials denied these reports. They stated that such payments do not exist. Currently, the certification cost for gasoline and hybrid vehicles is 5.6 million soums, while for electric vehicles it is 4.48 million soums.

UzTest specialists are working to enhance the security of the system. Additionally, citizens who encounter fraud are advised to contact the short number 1880.

It should be noted that the Anti-Corruption Agency had previously shown interest in the queues in Piskent, as some car importers had reported that the certification process could take the entire day.
