The most expensive plov was in Tashkent city, reaching a price of 117,400 soms. The costs in other regions are as follows: 105,500 soms in Andijan region, 108,400 soms in Bukhara region, 110,000 soms in Jizzakh, 111,700 soms in Kashkadarya region, 110,000 soms in Navoi, 109,400 soms in Namangan, 113,400 soms in Samarkand, 111,500 soms in Surkhandarya, 105,700 soms in Syrdarya, 113,600 soms in Tashkent region, 115,000 soms in Fergana, and 107,000 soms in Khorezm.
Thus, the costs of preparing plov vary from region to region. The quantities of the main ingredients required to prepare one kilogram of plov are specified: 0.3 liters of sunflower oil, 300 grams of onions, 700 grams of beef, 1 kilogram each of carrots and rice, 100 grams of chickpeas, 10 grams of cumin, and 20 grams of table salt.
These figures do not represent the market price of ready-made plov. They include not only the cost of ingredients but also the cooking process, service, and additional expenses.
