Since the beginning of 2025, more than 7,000 normative legal documents adopted unlawfully by state officials have been identified. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This situation led to the President issuing instructions to digitize the remote control system and the process of verifying decisions. At the presentation held on November 3, proposals for digitizing the Prosecutor General's Office system were discussed.
The main goal of these measures is to reduce bureaucracy and corruption. Digitizing public procurement has saved 7.5 trillion soums and nearly a thousand public services are being provided remotely, demonstrating the effectiveness of these efforts.
The "Digital Prosecutor Control" project aims to automate monitoring processes to detect violations in real time. At the same time, special attention is being paid to reforming investigative bodies.
However, some problems also exist. In particular, the efficiency of work is declining due to the unified evaluation system and paperwork.
Just this year alone, courts have returned 637 criminal cases for reconsideration. The head of state gave instructions to fully digitize the investigation process—from recording the crime to enforcing court decisions—and to implement artificial intelligence technologies.
Additionally, in November 2025, the country is holding a "Cyber Culture Awareness Month." This campaign is aimed at educating the public on the basics of digital security.
Applying digital technologies in public procurement not only saves budget funds but also fosters a healthy competitive environment. This serves to create equal opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in government contracts.
