In Uzbekistan, 24 billion soums are saved annually due to electronic document exchange. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a forum on combating bureaucracy. According to the head of state, as a result of the introduction of State Service Centers, the Unified Interactive State Services Portal, and the "Digital Government" system, the number of state services increased from 444 to 1040.
The volume of services provided exceeds 55 million. In recent years, more than 90 new services have been introduced in the country, approximately 30 of which are provided in real-time.
To reduce bureaucracy, more than 160 licenses have been canceled, and the possibility to obtain over 100 documents online has been created. Entrepreneurs have been given the opportunity to register their businesses remotely.
By 2030, it is planned to increase the number of state services in Tashkent to 1500, with the share of online services reaching 95 percent. Next year, another 250 services will be digitized, and the transition to a "Paperless Government" system is planned.
Additionally, more than 300 services in licensing, construction, and connection to communal networks are planned to be simplified. The possibility to connect to communal networks based on a single application will be created.
Furthermore, it is planned to reduce the service delivery time for over 100 services and to introduce artificial intelligence into the state services portal and other systems. Source: One.uz
