District and city governors in the regions of Uzbekistan, as well as their deputies, are relocated to another region once every five years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This procedure is implemented based on the relevant decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This innovation aims to increase efficiency in regional governance and introduce new experiences.
Additionally, a rotation system for executive authority employees will be established in 33 settlements. Starting next year, a results-oriented legal assistance system will be launched on a trial basis in these areas.
This system envisions evaluating the activities of state bodies based on established targeted indicators and metrics. The Legal Assistance Agency will manage these processes, develop a model for public service management, and coordinate its implementation in practice.
The performance of officials will be assessed through the samaradorlik.gov.uz platform. Furthermore, the agency will assist in developing the personnel potential of government institutions.
A system for hiring employees based on competitive selection is also planned to be introduced. These measures are aimed at modernizing public administration and enhancing its efficiency.
