Now deported citizens will not be able to leave the country for 2 years
From now on, according to the international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan, state services for issuing biometric passports for leaving the country will not be provided to citizens who have been readmitted for two years.

In this regard, the Government's resolution No. 313 on "Additional measures to improve labor migration processes" has been adopted.

According to the resolution, starting from September 1, 2025, information about citizens who have been deported due to violations of the legislation of foreign states, as well as actions that negatively affect the international reputation and authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will be maintained through a single electronic database of migration process information by the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The following will be included in the single database as an electronic register:
  • Information obtained from diplomatic missions and consular institutions abroad by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Information about individuals readmitted in accordance with international treaties by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Information obtained from the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers and its representatives abroad.

According to the regulations approved by the decree No. PQ-4079 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, state services for issuing biometric passports for leaving the country will not be provided for two years to citizens readmitted in accordance with the international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this case, exceptional circumstances for issuing biometric passports for leaving the country to readmitted citizens will be determined by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For your information, readmitted individuals are citizens who have been returned to Uzbekistan based on international agreements between Uzbekistan and other countries, either voluntarily or forcibly. That is, if an Uzbek citizen who has illegally stayed abroad, whose visa has expired, is accepted by Uzbekistan after being deported — this process is called readmission.
