The mass strike of pilotless aircraft belonging to Ukraine on June 1 against military airfields in several regions of the Russian Federation has resonated not only in Russia but also in U.S. political circles. Specifically, these events prompted a sharp response from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Following this, the U.S. ambassador to Turkey, Thomas Barak, also reported that Trump's patience has "now reached its end." According to him, the U.S. president is approaching this complex situation with great impatience and firmly believes in the necessity of finding a quick solution. Thomas Barak expressed hope that Turkey would also intervene in this situation, organizing a high-level meeting and assisting in resolving the conflict peacefully.
It is worth noting that the large-scale drone attacks carried out by Ukraine on June 1 targeted military airfields located in Russia's Irkutsk, Murmansk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense released official information stating that in some areas, these drones were destroyed by air defense systems. However, in certain regions, particularly in Murmansk and Irkutsk, these attacks caused damage to strategically important Tu-95 military aircraft.
When the attacks are analyzed in more detail, videos circulated on social media revealed that Ukrainian drone operators conducted these strikes through specially equipped containers. These containers were secretly brought into Russian territory behind trucks, allowing the drones to be controlled from a safe distance.
While commenting on this situation, Trump's representatives emphasized that the U.S. leadership is concerned about the conflict escalating further. Donald Trump is urging the leaders of both countries to sit down at the negotiating table urgently to prevent the situation from worsening. The U.S. ambassador also highlighted the importance of the intervention of mediator countries like Turkey to resolve this conflict on an international scale.
