
The rental of passenger cars and light vehicles, as well as the leasing sector, is experiencing significant growth in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
In the first four months of 2025, the total volume of this sector reached 2.1 trillion soums. This information was provided by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Analysis of the demand for car rental services by regions shows that a large portion of these services is concentrated in Tashkent city, accounting for 27.7 percent of the total volume. Following Tashkent city, Tashkent region ranks second, with a share of 14.2 percent.
Additionally, among the leading regions for rentals, Andijan region (9.3 percent), Samarkand region (8.1 percent), Kashkadarya region (7.5 percent), and Fergana region (7.1 percent) stand out. These figures clearly indicate how the demand for the sector is distributed across regions.
Overall, the growth in the car rental and leasing sector reflects an increasing interest in this branch of the economy.
