The general director of the Pari NN team, David Melik-Guseynov, explained the reasons for the team's match against Lokomotiv, which is scheduled for the third round of the Russian Premier League, to be held in Grozny. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team is currently waiting for the necessary permits for the "Mordovia Arena" stadium. Until then, matches will be held at reserve stadiums, as the main field is under repair.
Melik-Guseynov stated that two days before the match against Lokomotiv, there is an away game against the Dynamo team in Makhachkala. Therefore, the choice of the match location is related to logistics.
Additionally, the Lokomotiv team sharply criticized the decision to move the match to Grozny, citing hot weather and low spectator turnout as reasons. However, the Russian Premier League decided to move the start time of the match to 20:30 Moscow time, disregarding this criticism.
This decision aims to create convenience for the teams.
