"Zenit" football club defender Vyacheslav Karavaev emphasized that every team in the Russian championship tries to show themselves and gives their all in matches against "Zenit." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the belief that "Zenit" must always win has formed among many teams. Therefore, rivals not only play normally against "Zenit," but also prepare specifically for these matches and fully dedicate themselves.
Karavaev stated that "Zenit" has no right to lose points in such matches, especially it should have been the case against "Rubin." It is worth noting that "Zenit," despite leading 2:0 in that match, allowed the team led by Rashid Rahimov to equalize the score.
Karavaev also recalled that the players of the St. Petersburg club experienced very difficult emotions after losing the championship in the last round of the 2024/2025 season. In his opinion, such situations can serve as an important lesson for the team.
At the same time, he emphasized the necessity of fighting for victory in every game and justifying the trust of the fans.
