Cherchesov: More fans can fit in the Zenit stadium
The former head coach of the Russian national team, Stanislav Cherchesov, commented on the number of spectators between the "Zenit" and "Spartak" clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the capacity of the "Zenit" stadium is significantly larger compared to the "Spartak" stadium. Cherchesov stated that nearly seventy thousand spectators can fit in the "Zenit" stadium, while the figure for the "Spartak" stadium is forty-five thousand.
Additionally, sometimes fans do not go to the fan sector behind the goal. For this reason, "Zenit" is ahead in terms of the number of visitors.
However, Cherchesov notes that it is difficult to definitively state which team's fans are louder in the stadium. It is known that the "Spartak" and "Zenit" teams will compete against each other in the Premier League soon.
The match will take place on August 16, Saturday, at the "Lukoyl Arena" stadium. The game will start at 17:30 Moscow time.
It is worth noting that two rounds have been held in the Premier League so far. The "Zenit" team has accumulated four points, while "Spartak" continues the competition with three points.
