
In the third round of the Russian football championship, the teams "Krasnodar" and "Dinamo" faced each other. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The match took place on August 2 at the "Ozon Arena" stadium in Krasnodar. The hosts won the game by a minimal score.
The final result – "Krasnodar" 1:0 "Dinamo" Moscow. The only goal of the match was scored by Jon Kordoba in the 87th minute.
During the match, the hosts appeared more active in attack and approached the opponent's goal more often. However, the main part of the game passed quietly, with almost no dangerous situations arising.
"Dinamo," on the other hand, focused mainly on defense and rarely went on the attack. During the game, there were clashes between players, yellow cards, and instances of medical assistance.
By the end of the second half, the "Krasnodar" team intensified their attacks. Initially, after a corner kick, Chernikov headed the ball, but it went just wide of the goal.
In the final minutes of the game, after a pass from Spersyan, Kordoba left three opponents behind and struck powerfully from outside the penalty area, sending the ball to the goalpost and into the net. Thus, "Krasnodar" secured an important three points.
This result marked the first defeat of the season for "Dinamo" head coach Valeriy Karpin. "Krasnodar," on the other hand, celebrated their first victory at home after several consecutive losses.
Throughout the game, both teams acted cautiously, leading to a slow pace of play. At the same time, Kordoba's goal became the most significant event of the match.
