Barcelona is still interested in Runi after a serious injury

Kristian Emile, the representative of Runi Bardji, the newly signed player of the "Barcelona" team, spoke about the negotiations held with the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

"Barcelona" purchased the 19-year-old player from Denmark's "Copenhagen" team in July. In fact, this transfer could have happened earlier, but last year Runi suffered a serious injury and only fully recovered in the spring.

According to the agent, in May 2024, he was at "Barcelona's" training base, and negotiations were held regarding Runi Bardji's potential transfer. During the peak of the negotiations, a phone call came from "Copenhagen," revealing that the player would not be able to play for a long time due to a knee ligament tear.

This news caused a deep silence in the room and created difficult moments for those involved in the negotiations. Nevertheless, "Barcelona" maintained its interest in the player, and several more meetings were held later.

As a result, Runi Bardji signed a contract with "Barcelona" that is set to last until 2029.
