Pavel Stipidi, who is active in the field of football, expressed his opinion about Dejan Stankovich, the head coach of Moscow's Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Stankovich currently lacks the enthusiasm and energy necessary to lead the team. Stipidi emphasized that during the press conference held before the recent matches, Stankovich gave short and emotionless answers to journalists' questions through a translator, and at the end of the conversation, he forced a smile and left.
In the game, the coach did not act as actively as before and appeared uncomfortable. In Stipidi's opinion, Stankovich is staying at Spartak only because he has no other offers and does not expect new opportunities to arise soon.
His contract with Spartak has been extended for another two years, and these terms are favorable for him. However, Stipidi points out that the coach's lack of emotion is negatively affecting the team.
According to him, in a sport like football, a coach must always demonstrate significant energy and emotion. Stipidi stated that Spartak cannot achieve great results with the current coach and, on the contrary, it could lead to a deterioration in the team's results.
It should be noted that in the fourth round of the Russian championship, Spartak will face the leader, Lokomotiv, in a derby match.
