
A competition in the sport of polo was held in the "Central Hippodrome" area located in the Chilonzor district of our capital, organized in collaboration with the district administration, the National Guard, the Uzbekistan Polo Federation, and the Women's Polo League.
In the competition, teams from the National Guard of Tashkent city and Tashkent region, equestrian schools, and the University of Public Safety, as well as women's teams, competed.
The main prize went to the polo players of the National Guard Equestrian School of Tashkent city, while the National Guard of Tashkent city management took second place, and the polo players of the University of Public Safety secured third place.
For the first time, in the competition among girls' teams entering the Women's Polo League, the "Chilonzor Polo Club" took first place.
– The main goal of organizing such competitions is to further popularize the sport of polo, which encompasses our national traditions, among our youth, – said Saidkahhor Khokhjoyev, the mayor of Chilonzor district. – This competition was held at the initiative of the Nuroniy Foundation of Tashkent city. Each team, especially the girls' teams, fought with all their might for victory. Such competitions are planned to be held not only in our district but also throughout the city and the country.
