The German Football Association's director Andreas Rettig commented on the conflict between Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen and the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It has been revealed that the relationship between the 33-year-old goalkeeper and the club has deteriorated due to his refusal to sign a medical document confirming his injury. Because Ter Stegen did not sign this document, Barcelona was forced to make changes to their plans.

This document would have allowed the club to allocate part of the player's salary for registering other players. According to Andreas Rettig, Ter Stegen's contributions to Barcelona should have been taken into account by the club.

Rettig also emphasized that he cannot provide an impartial assessment of the situation. Marc-André ter Stegen has been defending Barcelona's honor since 2014.

It is also reported that he may soon be stripped of the captain's armband. So far, there has been no comment from the club officials regarding the situation.
