Lokomotiv is entering the derby as the favorite

Former football player Vitaliy D’yakov mentioned the main favorite of the derby match between Moscow's “Lokomotiv” and “Spartak” teams. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This game will take place on August 9. The match will start at 18:00.

According to D’yakov, “Lokomotiv” is showing itself confidently this season. The team has won all three rounds and is particularly distinguished by its coherence in the midfield.

However, unexpected results can also occur in derby matches. If “Spartak” manages to gather its game, it could provide worthy resistance to the opponent.

At the beginning of the new season, “Lokomotiv” won against “Sochi” 3:0, “Krasnodar” 2:1, and “Pari NN” 3:2. Thus, head coach Mikhail Galaktionov's team is entering the derby as the championship leader.

On the other hand, “Spartak” started the season with a 1:0 victory over “Dinamo” (Makhachkala), but then lost 0:3 to “Baltika”. The team also drew 1:1 with “Akron” in Samara.
