Hadji Hadjiev, who is the president of the "Dinamo" club in Makhachkala, expressed his opinion about the likelihood of a salary cap being introduced for Russian Premier League clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Hadjiev, the establishment of a salary cap could lead to the emergence of certain "shadow" schemes. That is, some players may receive part of their salaries unofficially, meaning covertly.
Hadjiev explains his concerns in this regard: “If salary caps are introduced, everything may shift to shadow schemes. This situation is very close to reality.
This is confirmed by my life experience,” he said in an interview with Metaratings. It should be noted that the Makhachkala "Dinamo" team has accumulated five points in the last four rounds of the Premier League.
The team is currently in tenth place in the competition table.
