Titov: Lokomotiv is showing high results with Russian football players

Former player of Moscow's "Spartak" team, Egor Titov, shared his thoughts on the legionnaires and the "Lokomotiv" club in the Russian championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized that "Lokomotiv" is playing with a squad almost entirely made up of Russian players. According to Titov, it is necessary to respect your championship, your players, and your coaches.

Unfortunately, such situations are rarely seen today. "Lokomotiv" is doing a good job in this regard, and it should be noted, Titov said in an interview with the "Championat" publication.

Additionally, Titov mentioned that he is not against foreign players, as they bring a unique color and interest to the Russian championship. For reference, "Lokomotiv" collected a maximum of 12 points in the first four rounds of the Russian championship and is currently leading the tournament table.

Last weekend, the "Lokomotiv" team defeated "Spartak" with a score of 4:2, strengthening their leadership. These results show that the club is achieving high results by relying on its internal squad.
